Petra Scotti is a devotee of the present moment. Her journey into yoga is anchored in an ever deepening immersion into what it means to be present in the body. Petra's formal training in yoga began in 2003. Having completed an initial teacher training program in November of that year, teaching was placed on the
back-burner as multiple re-locations and raising a young family took priority. In 2008, life opened up the possibility of a more in-depth training with Core Power Yoga in San Diego. The 200 hour trainer certification involved 9 weeks of classroom training and provided a dynamic teaching framework which resonated with Petra. Her classes are based on a power Vinyasa and Hatha flow, and offer a unique flavor for both beginners and advanced yoga practitioners. Petra's classes provide an opportunity to experience aliveness in the body as the ever-chattering mind falls silent. She is a student of the internationally acclaimed spiritual teacher and mystic, Leonard Jacobson.
